First, consultancy firms seldom back the real-world applicability of their strategic recommendations by stepping up to lead and implement them for their clients, and secondly, few are prepared to take on accountability and shared reward for growth and results.

Uniquely however, John’s modus operandi and the Dalsuit Group’s culture of success is to personally implement their business growth advice and directly execute key strategies to accomplish the agreed success criteria on an interim management basis.

Dependent on the needs of the engagement, the Dalsuit Group will draw upon a number of specialist associates with typically 15-25 years’ experience in their field.

These experts are engaged as enablers once the turnaround strategy is agreed and include a Chief Operational Officer, Channels Director, Professional Services Head, Marketing Manager, Presentation Skills/Consultative selling Instructor, Human Relations Director, Advisory Project Manager and Client Relationship expert.

John Harriott leads the Group as a proven strategy, sales and growth oriented executive with a career implementing business turnaround strategies and increased valuation for firms in the professional services, venture capital, finance, enterprise outsourcing, accountancy, energy services, information technology, construction and distribution sectors.

John’s early career in the mid 80’s included A$50-350 Million A/NZ revenue responsibility for sales, partner and implementation teams with enterprise providers including IBM, CSC, Wang and Telxon and he has carried CEO, sales director and financial result/exit strategy responsibility for a number of fast growth firms with turnover ranging from A$15-85 Million.

John is a business turnaround specialist and an expert at developing and executing Go To Market plans, channel strategy, sales force excellence, sales and pursuit methodologies, corporate exit strategy, merger and acquisition opportunities, entity valuation maximisation, private equity, entity IPO readiness and listing on ASX.

Repeatable, portable success comes from strategy development, stakeholder buy-in and client facing leadership in the implementation of focused Go To Market plans.

John has a proven ability to drive rapid organic growth by inspiring and leading from the front a direct sales and services force that creates and effectively serves customer need, whilst nurturing key alliance partnerships for maximum leverage and potential merge and acquisition opportunity.

John is passionate about empowering people, developing a client first ethos and succession planning to build scale and deliver growth and profit on a least risk and fast time to implementation basis.

John is a graduate at the Australian Institute of Company Directors, amongst the alumni of the Presidents Class at Macquarie Graduate School of Management and Auckland University for management studies and serves as non-executive director on a number of business, not for profit and sporting associations boards.

John is a loving husband, devoted father; philanthropist, property investor, ski instructor and hang-gliding enthusiast and continues to serve the community as a NSW Justice of the Peace since his appointment by the Attorney General in the late 90’s.
